HYTOR supplies distribution panels for 6 hydrogen filling stations opening on 11 June 2008 in the cities of Holstebro, Ringkøbing, Hvide Sande and Skjern in Denmark. At the same time a large number of hydrogen fuel cell powered hybrid cars will be put into operation at private and public companies.
So far the project named "H2 HUB Vestjylland" is the largest project within hydrogen for transportation in Denmark. The basis of the project is the application of permanent energy for the production of the hydrogen which will power the vehicles. The hydrogen production for the stations in Western Jutland is based on windmill power.
The hydrogen and fuel cell technology in the H2 HUB project is provided by H2 Logic A/S and has been developed in collaboration between national and international companies including HYTOR.
