Crystal Engineering appoints HYTOR as new distributor

Crystal Engineering Corporation, who has specialized in digital pressure measurement equipment that can collect and save data, has granted HYTOR A/S exclusive rights to sell its equipment in Denmark.

Crystal Engineering's measurement equipment supplements HYTOR's program, so now the Esbjerg-based company offers a full range of equipment for mechanical and digital pressure measurement.

Pressure calibration used to involve delicate and careful measurements with manometers or deadweight testers. This was never practical or reliable in the field due to environmental factors and changes.

Crystal Engineering was founded and used the combination of two emerging technologies both based on silicon: Large scale integrated circuits (LSI) and MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) pressure sensors. This enabled Crystal to design and develop digital pressure calibrators and gauges that are portable and easy to use but with better accuracy and reliability for field use.

Crystal Engineering’s pressure gauges, pressure calibrators and pressure modules and software can be found at work in petrochemical refineries, power generating stations, gas pipelines and on off-shore oil platforms.
